VAT Exemption Guide

A number of our items are VAT zero rated when purchased by people with qualfying disabilities (see "Who can obtain goods VAT free?" below).  These items have their VAT exemption indicated underneath the item description.  Please note VAT is payable on delivery charges even though you may be eligible to claim VAT exemption on the purchased item.

Online purchases - when ordering, first select the VAT        exemption choice from the "Qualify for VAT exemption?" box        below the items description (see inset picture).  

 

 

 

 

On going to "Checkout" you be asked to complete details of your qualifying medical condition (see inset picture) 

 

By post or fax - if you prefer you can download a "printable VAT exemption Order Form 2" and return by post or by fax, enclosing a cheque or your credit card details. You will be asked to complete details of your qualifying medical disability.

Who can obtain goods VAT free? If you are disabled, or have a chronic medical condition, you are eligible to claim relief from the standard rate of VAT on certain indicated items.  When you submit an order and select the "Yes - I qualify for VAT Exemption" box you are declaring that you are entitled to receive the goods* VAT exempt (or zero-rated).  For postal or fax orders you are required to sign and complete the declaration in writing.
